Prof. Dr Nicole van Nes is head of the department ‘Human Factors in Vehicle Automation’ at SWOV Institute for Road Safety Research. Additionally, Nicole holds a professorship in ‘Human Centered Design for Smart Mobility’ at the faculty of Industrial Design Engineering at the Delft University of Technology and she is coordinator of the European project MEDIATOR, which focuses on optimal collaboration between a human driver and vehicle automation.
